When providing this much needed replacement for a complex paper based booking system our aim was to guide event attendees though a large set of options (up to eight choices of event for any given time slot over four days). We spent a lot of time working on producing a good user journey, clear screen layouts, good visual cues and making sure the process was clearly sign posted. Details included: indicating how much time was left to complete the process, listing timeslots and events already chosen and so on.

This system proved to be very successful, saving a lot of time and resources within the company. The credit for that must go to the business analysist and team of developers. In addition, a colleague carried out the visual design.

This booking system was a subesquent enhancement to this fitness event site. The designs are different because they are from different years.
